So finally the day has come: It is time for the 2012 Eleanor Kirkpatrick Franco-American Fellows to begin their journey from Oklahoma to Picardie. We are all especially grateful to the Kirkpatrick Family Fund and the Alliance Française d'Oklahoma City as well as our families and schools for all of they support and for helping to make this fellowship experience possible.
Bags are packed, meeting at the airport at 5:30 am for a 7:30 am flight, and then we shall spend the day in Manhattan before catching and evening flight to Paris. A simple weather check reveals that Paris nd Manhattan have similar weather patterns this week. We're grateful for the moderate temperatures and apparent absence of thunderstorms or snow!
